Chiddingfold PC ODE 18 June 2006 at Rogate

Lucy Cheetham on Lambwath Silk Stocking (Sammy) won her class, finishing on her dressage score. She missed the best dressage  prize by 0.6%. She jumped beatiful show jumping and cross country rounds to claim first place. Well done Lucy and Sammy.

Hayley Phillips-Hart (Ornella Topaz) and Jamie Cheetham (Margarets Puzzle) were competing in their first ODE and, while unplaced here, went extremely well.

POINT TO POINT

The SC & RMA Drag Hunt Annual Point to Point was at Tweseldown on Sunday 7th January. Well done to Sasha and Dan 

FUN DAY REPORT

The FUN DAY was a really successful afternoon. Every one made a huge effort with the fancy dress. Considering there were a lot of ponies in a small space they were all very well behaved especially as they were adorned with tinsel, baubles, reindeer antlers, gold hooves, fairy wings etc. The games were organized brilliantly by Lisa and Mark, sweets were distributed frequently, the FAB4 carried out their duties as fancy dress judges very professionally and some of the children and ponies jumped higher than they had ever done before in the Chase me Charlie. The parents, grandparents and friends were plied with plenty of gluevine and mince pies. It was lovely to see such a large band of supporters.

A good day was had by all !!

CAMP 2007- UPDATE !!

Dates for Camp have been set as Tuesday 22nd August to Saturday 25th August inclusive (a week later than originally shown on the calendar). Details will be published nearer the time, however places will be limited (24). A letter will go out either via post or e-mail next year with forms to be returned with deposits. For now just put the dates in your diary

Congratulations to everyone who passed both the Riding and Road Safety Test and Achievement badge. We had a 100% pass rate.

CHIDDINGFOLD & CHIDDINGFOLD FARMERS TETRATHLON

Spread over two weekends, a fine one for the ride and a wet one again for the run, shoot and swim, we again showed that we are back !!!

In the Tetrathlon, the mini boys team (Dan Magee & Scot Wilson) came SECOND and the junior girls (Hayley Wilson & Jess James) came FIFTH. Jamie Cheetham (the only junior boy - more wanted please!) came individually 5th.

In the Triathlon, one of our mini girls team came FIRST (Hayley Phillips Hart, Emma Bishop & Lucy Cheetham) and the other came FORTH (Ashleigh Holmes & Michaela Wilson). Hayley Phillips came individually FIRST and had the best run in the over 10's and Ashleigh Holmes came individually FIRST and had the best shoot in the under 10's. In the boys Chris Phillips Hart also came individually FIRST and had the best run.

Well done to Rachael Holmes (just 6) who completed the Biathlon

SOUTH BERKS TETRATHLON - ANOTHER FINE RESULT

In the hardest Tetrathlon to date, the Staff College & Sandhurst Hunt Junior Team came 2nd, consisting of Micheal Fricker (individually 3rd and best run), Jamie Cheetham (individually 5th), Hayley Wilson (her first Tetrathlon) and Jess James.

The mini team consisting of Hayley Phillips Hart (individually 2nd), Lucy Cheetham & Dan Magee (Individually 6th) came 5th.

The mini Triathlon Team of Ashleigh Holmes (best shoot), Chloe Lapthorne & Michaela Wilson came 8th

Well done to all and the parents for their support

Horse Trials

Our team of Lucy Cheetham, Dan Magee and Sasha Wong were unplaced, but Lucy  and Sammy (Lambwath Silk Socking) were 7th individually

AREA NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP - SHOW JUMPING TEAM SEVENTH

The novice show jumping team of  Shelby Smith, Haley Wilson, Jenna Hill and Kim Trowbridge came seventh at the Area 13 Novice Championships held at Iping on Thursday 10th August.

AREA NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP - HORSE TRIALS

The novice horse trials team of  Jamie Cheetham, Hayley Phillips Hart & Lucy Cheetham competed at Iping on 10th August. They tried hard but were unplaced. Better luck next time

AREA SHOW JUMPING - MINIS FOURTH

The mini team of  Shelby Smith, Lucy Cheetham, Dan Magee and Haley Wilson came fourth at the Area 13 Show Jumping Championships held at Wheatland Farm on Monday 7th August.

AREA HORSE TRIALS

Jamie Cheetham on Puzzle was our only representative, in what was only his third Horse Trials Competition and completed an excellent show jumping round. This was all good experience and we look forward to entering a full team next year.

AREA DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP - KIM TROWBRIDGE SEVENTH

Kim was our only representative, and finished 2nd in the warm up class and 7th in the Novice Area Class. Well done to Kim and Bruno

TETRATHLON TEAM WIN AREA COMPETITION

The Staff College and Sandhurst Mini Girls Team won the Area 13 Tetrathlon Competition held at the WEC and Lord Wandsworth School on 22nd /23rd July. The team consist of  Hayley Phillips Hart, who also came individually 1st, with the highest recorded point score ever in the competition 4552!, Lucy Cheetham, who also came individually 5th and Chloe Lapthorne who came individually 8th.

Staff College and Sandhurst Hunt Mounted games team wins the Santolina Mounted Games Tournament Trophy.

On a very hot July evening we took a Mounted Games team to Santolina Stables, in Wokingham, for a friendly Competition.
In total there were five teams; SC&SH and four representing Santolina Stables.

Our team, which consisted of: Hayley Wilson, Dan Magee, Sasha Wong, Emma Bishop and Michaela Wilson,
had turned out immaculately and I am pleased to say they took first prize in the tack and turn out and the overall trophy !

HAYLEY PHILLIPS HART WINS ROYAL ARTILLERY TETRATHLON

Another excellent day for everyone at the Royal Artillery Hunts Tetrathlon, at Nether Wallop Sunday 9th July

Hayley came 1st and also had best run and swim in the Mini Girls (this was Hayley's fourth consecutive win!!), Lucy Cheetham came 5th.

Well done to Scot Wilson (best shoot), Michaela Wilson (clear xcountry) and Racheal Chambers (clear xcountry), who completed their first Tetrathlon in the Mixed Minis. They came 4th as a team.

Jamie Cheetham came individually 2nd (best swim) and Michael Fricker individually 6th (best run) in the Juniors, the team coming 1st

Dan Magee came individually 8th and his team 2nd

Ashleigh Holmes came individually 2nd in the Mini Triathlon
