Dress Code Pony Club dress code for Working Rallies, mini rallies, discipline training, test training and un-mounted events as at February 2010
Working Rallies and Mini Rallies
Long sleeved white shirt, pony club tie and cream/beige jodhpurs. Black, blue or tweed jacket with PC Badge and relevant felt. Following the Tack & Turn out inspection Jackets may be swapped for PC sweatshirt or tracksuit top. Black, brown or blue hat silk. Black or brown gloves. Black or brown jodhpur boots and chaps or long boots. Back Protectors No piercings or jewellery. Ponies and tack must be clean and tidy. Numnahs must be plain black, brown or white with no coloured braiding or piping. Members who hold C test or above must be plaited.
Discipline trainingMay be as per the working rallies or clothing specific to each discipline. You will be notified by the organiser when the event is advertised what you are expected to wear.
Test and achievement badge training
Mounted as per working rallies except that jackets and ties are not required. Red PC ‘T’ shirt and PC sweatshirt or tracksuit top should be worn. No piercings or jewellery
Unmounted in the hut Red PC ‘T’ shirt and PC sweatshirt or tracksuit top Dark casual trousers or dark plain jodhpurs Trainers or jodhpur boots
Unmounted on a yard as above except yard boots should be worn, not trainers. Riding hat is compulsory No piercings or jewellery
Tack and turnout checkFor health and safety reasons this must be carried out by the instructor at the very beginning of a mounted activity. Marks will be accumulated throughout the year.
