Hats must conform to the required Pony Club Standard

SPURS

Anyone wishing to wear spurs at Pony Club competitions must get approval from DC Mrs.Jo Saxby The new membership cards now contain a section for the approval. Please ask Jo Saxby if you have not received yours

GENERAL RALLYS

Jacket – black, blue, tweed
PC badge and badge felt
Cream jodphurs
White shirt
Pony Club tie
Gloves
Hat silk – black, blue, brown
Clean boots
CLEAN, SAFE TACK (it will be checked)
Plain saddlecloths
CLEAN PONIES !!!!!!!!!!

MOUNTED GAMES PRACTICE SESSIONS

1. Hats must be tagged (I can arrange)

2. Cream or beige Jodhpurs

3. Black or brown Jodhpur boots

4. SC&SH red rugby shirts, sweat-shirts (must be long sleeved)

5. No whips or spurs allowed.

MOUNTED GAMES COMPETITIONS

Rider

1. Hats must be black or blue and tagged.

2. Jodphurs must be beige or cream with elastic clips.

3. Black or Brown Jodhpur boots (no chaps)

4. Pony club ties with a white long sleeved shirt

5. Hair must be either tied up or plaited.

6. Jodphur riding boots Black or Brown

7. NO JEWELLERY including sleepers and watches.

8. No Metal Pony Club badges.

9. No Whips or spurs allowed

10. Pony Club bibs (will be supplied)

Pony

1. Bridles – plain black or brown ( no white or coloured piping or decoration permitted on nosebands, brow bands etc.

2. Bits – snaffles only.

3. Nosebands – cavesson, flash or drop.

4. Saddles – brown or black with white or black girths.

5. Numnahs only white, no logos etc.

6. Stirrups – should be of the correct size to suit riders boots and should have 7mm (1/4”) clearance on either side.

7. Tack must be in good order, stitching will be checked.

8. Ponies must be well shod or feet well trimmed.

9. Ponies must not be plaited.
